Everest View Helicopter Tour with Kala Patthar Landing Faqs

  • Do I need a separate guide?
A dedicated guide travelling in the helicopter is not included in the standard package. Request one if needed; the guide occupies payload and usually a passenger seat, which can change the cost and capacity.
  • Can we customise the trip?
Yes. Tell us your preferred route or occasion. Changes depend on permissions, aircraft availability and the operator’s flight plan and will be quoted separately.
  • What if the helicopter flies but cannot make the planned stop?

The pilot may change the route or return without landing. Any refund or price adjustment follows the specific terms supplied before booking; a full refund is not automatic after a flight has operated.

  • What happens if the flight cannot depart?
We will discuss an alternative date or the cancellation options in your written booking terms. Ask for the weather cancellation and refund conditions before paying.
  • How much does the tour cost?
Prices are quoted for your date, route, nationality, group weights and private or shared booking. Request a written total showing taxes, permits, transfers, planned stops and any meal or access arrangements.
  • Will every passenger get a window seat?
Seating follows aircraft configuration, weight distribution and the pilot’s instructions. A window seat is not guaranteed.
  • Is breakfast included?

No. Breakfast and a Hotel Everest View breakfast stop are not included in this package.

  • Can I request an Everest Base Camp flyover?

Ask us to confirm whether an Everest Base Camp flyover forms part of your approved flight route. It is subject to permissions, visibility and the operator’s final flight plan.

  • Will we land at Everest Base Camp or Kala Patthar?

A short Kala Patthar landing is planned only when explicitly confirmed by the operator and permitted on the day. An Everest Base Camp landing is not included.
