  • Trek to Poon Hill to see the beautiful panorama of the Himalayas
  • Discover the unique cultures of the ethnic community of Gurungs, Magars, and Tamangs
  • Explore the historic city of Kathmandu

The north of Nepal is full of great mountain ranges famous all over the world. The Everest and Kanchenjunga in the eastern region stand proud in their glory as some of the highest mountains on Earth. On the other hand, the western mountain ranges are subtle and beautiful in their way.

You arrive at the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu, to begin your 9-day Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. If you want, we can arrange a short sightseeing tour of the famous landmarks of the valley. Then, you will embark on a tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The 6-hour ride will be an exciting one as you travel along the Trishuli River.

From Pokhara, you will drive towards Nayapul, the starting point for the trek. From Nayapul, begin the trek as you head towards Tikhedhunga and then to Ghorepani. Along the way, you come across some beautiful traditional villages populated by the Gurungs, Magars, and Tamangs. Experience their lifestyle as you enjoy a pleasant stay at one of the family-run homestays.

The magnificent view of the western Himalayan range from Poon Hill is just as better. The panoramic view of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and Gangapurna from this popular viewpoint is breathtaking. This difficulty of this trek is moderate grade as the trail is difficult only in some points, which anyone can overcome. The best time to do this trek is spring (February-May) and autumn (September-December) seasons.

At Himalayan Kingdom, you can customize your trip. With the best transportation and accommodation services to experienced guides and staff, we make sure that you enjoy your stay in Nepal to the fullest.
